Little kids are experts at finding amusement in everyday items. Michaja and Elisa may not have a room full of toys here at Riverside, but they know there is fun to be had everywhere.
Here Elisa (now a toddler!) keeps herself--and me--entertained by playing peek-a-boo at the entrance to my tent.
She kept it up until she had learned a new word (from hearing me say it so often): "Hi!"
Meanwhile Michaja has long ago discovered the many possibilities of her family's large laundy basket.
It's big enough for her to hide underneath... and then dramatically reappear!
